Your Chelwish piece is crafted from high-quality full-grain leather, selected for its natural beauty and long-lasting durability. To help preserve its appearance and structure over time, please follow the care guidelines below.

Storage

• When not in use, store your bag in its original dust bag, placed upright and away from direct sunlight, heat, or humidity.

• Lightly fill the interior with acid-free tissue paper, a soft cloth, or a pillow insert to help maintain its shape.

• Keep handles and straps in a relaxed position to prevent bending or distortion.

Daily Use

• Avoid overfilling the bag, as excessive weight may stretch or deform the leather, lining, or handles.

• Prevent contact with dark or untreated fabrics to reduce the risk of colour transfer, particularly on lighter leather shades.

• Keep the bag away from makeup, hand creams, perfumes, and oils, which may cause staining.

Cleaning

• If exposed to water or dirt, gently blot the surface with a clean, dry, light-coloured cloth and allow it to air dry naturally. Do not rub or apply heat.

• For routine care, use only a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaps, alcohol, creams, waterproofing sprays, or abrasive cleaning products.

• Clean, dry hands are recommended when handling the bag.

Preservation

• Natural oils and daily wear may subtly change the leather’s finish over time. Softening and the development of a light patina are natural characteristics of genuine leather.

• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which may affect the colour or texture of the leather.
