Refund policy

At Chelwish, each piece is crafted with intention, artistry, and care. Due to the limited-edition and handmade nature of our bags, we maintain a strictly limited return policy to preserve quality and exclusivity.

1. All Sales Are Final

All purchases made on www.chelwish.com are considered final sale and non-refundable. We do not offer returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Waitlist delays (which are clearly communicated before checkout)

  • Custom or made-to-order items

2. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged during shipping

  • Incorrect or not what you ordered

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery at info@chelwish.com with:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

Our team will assess your request and may offer a replacement or store credit, depending on the situation. Please note that minor variations in leather grain, color tone, or stitching are considered part of the handmade process — not defects.

3. Return Eligibility (If Accepted)

If your return request is approved (due to damage or error), the item must be:

  • Unused and in original condition

  • In its original packaging, including dust bag and certificate of authenticity

  • Returned within 7 days of return approval

Customers are responsible for shipping the item back securely. Chelwish is not responsible for return items lost in transit.

4. Refunds (If Applicable)

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges due to the limited nature of our inventory. However, if an item is defective or incorrect, we may offer a replacement if available.
